Top 3 in Beauty: May '19 Edition

I wanted to share a few beauty products I’m been using non-stop this month. Starting out with the Dior Forever Foundation. I feel like they must have changed their packaging since I can’t find this exact bottle at Sephora, but guys this foundation is so good. It’s actually the foundation I ended up wearing on my wedding day. It’s medium coverage, glowy, and stays put all day. Can’t go wrong.

I’ve also been using the Marc Jacobs Glow Stick to death lately. With the warm weather, I’ve found myself gravitating towards a creamy highlight. This one makes your cheekbones look a little wet, and I’m here for it. I’ve been using this on my lids too!

I’ve been showing off a little more skin lately, so the Isle of Paradise Tanning drops have been a lifesaver. I love the fact I can use these all over. I just add a few drops to my Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion and massage it into my face and body. So easy, I love how you can control how deep you want your tan too.

Memorial Day weekend (MDW) is finally here! I have such good memories attached to this holiday and look forward to it every year. Swapping Out Sweaters for Spring Wear

It’s finally that time, sweaters are out and spring wear is in! I spent the last weekend packing up cashmere, chunky sweaters and sweater dresses and stashing them in a storage bins until summer is over. I love the process of physically putting out of season pieces away and unpacking a new season. It’s such a nice wardrobe refresh. New items that I haven’t seen for months making a beautiful new wardrobe, without spending a dime. It really helps me focus in on what I really need - rather than duplicating items I already own.

Other pieces I like to store away this time of year are my boots. Then all at once my open toed shoes come out. Sandals are my absolute favorite shoes to wear, such a shame I live in the the northwest where I can only wear them 6 months out of the year! So you can fully expect lots of sandal wear in the upcoming months.

This time of year I’m focusing on more light colors, swapping out black for white, even though we all know black always finds it’s way into my wardrobe year round - a girl can try!  Seeing all the beige, tan and light blues tones hanging in my wardrobe is just putting me in the warm weather spirit!
