2020 Holiday Gift Guides
Can you believe that the holidays are already here? We’ve decided to start decorating the house a little early this year (our tree is now officially up!), and with the sad news of the latest COVID restrictions, it seems as though we won’t be having our typical Thanksgiving this year. I’ll be making a small dinner for my husband and will be seeing family virtually :( and although it’s not ideal, I know it’s responsible. That said, I’m trying to make our house a little more festive this year to get into the holiday spirit! Today I wanted to share a few gift ideas I’ve rounded up thus far, most are from small businesses (trying to support small and local as much as I can!) with some favorites mixed in.
This year I have a coat by the Curated at the top of my wishlist. The Curated is a Scandinavian based company focused on quality, sustainability and honest pricing. I purchased the Classic Coat in shade Bone last winter and completely fell in love with the fabric & style. The fabric is a cashmere - wool blend, (so luxurious!) it quickly became my go-to coat. This year I’ve got the camel shade on my list. I’m asking for a size down, (from small to xs) as they’ve recently extended their size range - bless!
For him… I’m thinking cozy pieces to bundle up with, sprinkling in a few gaming items (this controller was a big hit last year) and some self care items. I found this really cool men’s hat and coat from Bridge and Burn, a local shop that has tons of neat pieces (love their men’s range). This is also a good time to repurchase your man’s moisturizer, shower gel, shampoo bars - etc!
For friends and family, I’m thinking home goods. Everyone is spending more time at home and why not treat yourself - or, let me treat you! I’ve found some really cool home pieces like these oil and vinegar cruets and locally made ceramics that are so cute, can’t wait to gift!
You can find links to each of the gift guides above, I hope you guys enjoy! And if you’re still looking for more ideas, keep an eye on my Pinterest… I’m sure I’ll be adding more over the next month ;)
