And just like that, we’re in the midst of spring and it really couldn’t have come at a better time. I’m feeling reenergized by all the new life and taking in all spring notes - blooms, sunshine and warmer weather! Taking a moment to share a few things that have been bringing me joy over the last few weeks.
Oversized Sweatshirts
Sweatshirts have been a go-to in my wardrobe, especially when working from home. An easy and comfortable choice when the airs a little chilly in the morning and I just want something cozy. I picked up this oversized sweatshirt from ASOS in the color stone and blue (just got the blue in the mail yesterday!). I like that they’re lightweight so I don’t get too warm in the afternoon, and since they’re 100% cotton and wash well, I’m not afraid to get them dirty. I’ve also been getting lots of wear out of my Zara knitted sweatshirts. Unfortunately the ones I have are sold out, but they’re aways releasing similar styles like this gray one.
Floral Scent for Spring
Scents have been such a mood shifter for me during the work week. As I mentioned in my previous post, I've been spritzing perfume on after my work day to help my brain transition into the evening. The Jo Malone Peony and Blush Suede scent has been my absolute favorite. It screams spring and brings even more warmth now that we’ve planted a few peonies in our own garden. Nectarine Blossom & Honey is another beautiful scent, a little more on the fruity side with notes of spring flowers.
A Sun Kissed Bronzer
This last month I’ve been on a bronzer kick and ended up purchasing two bronzers during the Sephora sale, and adore them both! I typically go for more matte shades, but I was feeling something glowy. I picked up the RMS Madeira Bronzer, a beautiful luminizing bronzer that really gives you a sun kissed feel. About a week or two later I eyed the Marc Jacobs Glow Away Bronzing Stick. It’s marketed as a cream body bronzer, but I’ve been using it on the eyes and face with a brush and it’s absolutely gorgeous - bonus points that it smells like coconuts!
