My Morning Skincare Routine

After having one of those weekends where I just didn’t feel like wearing makeup, I took time to appreciate my morning skincare routine. I’ve really honed it on what my skin needs to feel good in the morning, and these three skincare items are checking all the boxes.

Most mornings I don’t wash my face (unless I’m feeling especially oily), I just spritz my face with a hydrating mist to wake my skin up. I’m currently using one by Pearlessence, the rose hydrating face mist, but I also really like the Mario Badescu rose water mist, both leave my skin feeling refreshed and prepped for moisturizer. Next I go in with my moisturizer by Replenix, such a great moisturizing base that doubles as an SPF. I don’t like having a separate SPF cream, so I hunted this 2-1 moisturizer down after hearing rave reviews from the Skinny Confidential. I’ve been using it for 6+ months now and haven’t reached for anything else since. If I’m feeling a little dry (lately my skin has been a little drier with the weather change), I mix in a few drops of the Kora Organics oil for an extra punch of hydration. I like taking the time in the morning to assess my skin and give it what it needs, makes all the difference!
